Moree Plains Shire village residents are reminded to register for the upcoming bulky waste collection by this Friday, August 7.

Cleanaway will begin to collect waste items throughout the areas of Ashley, Biniguy, Boggabilla, Boomi, Garah, Mungindi, Pallamallawa, Vitonga Road, Weemelah and Yarraman on Monday, August 10 for those properties registered for collection.
Each registered household is allowed to place up to three cubic metres of waste on their kerb one week prior to their designated collection time. A list of permitted items of bulky waste can be found on council's website.
Waste must be put out for collection by no later than the Sunday evening prior to your collection week.

Waste that does not meet the requirements will be treated as illegal dumping and you may be issued an infringement notice. Items placed on the kerb without registration will not be collected.
Registration for the Moree township and surrounding areas (Gurley, Gwydirville and Bendygleet) closed last Friday, July 31, with waste items placed on the kerb by the evening of Sunday 2 August being collected during the course of this week.
Households which missed this round of bulky waste collection are able to take their items of domestic waste, organics and recycling to the Moree Waste Management Facility or Community Recycling Centre at no charge.
