Moree had sides compete across all age groups, including under-6s, under-8s, under-10s and under-12s, going up against sides from Inverell, Armidale, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Walcha, Narrabri, Coonabarabran, Quirindi, Barraba and Scone.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, the gala day was held across two grounds - the Inverell Sporting Complex and Inverell Rugby Park - as well as a morning and afternoon session to split up the games.

Each team played three games across the day, with some teams with smaller numbers combining to ensure everyone got a run.
After a long hiatus, all the players have enjoyed getting back on the field and playing some rugby.
"It was quite a different carnival but it was good. Everyone got lots of footy and we had a really good level of attendance," Inverell Junior Rugby Club president James Roger said.
The juniors will next travel to Gunnedah for another gala day this Sunday, August 9.
