It might have been his first time racing in Sydney, but Moree trainer Peter Sinclair was still able to enjoy a top day out at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

Sinclair had two horses line up in the TAB Highway Handicap, with Liberty Head and Beacon finishing second and fourth respectively.
"It was a great experience," Sinclair said.
"It's an eye opener to get down there and see the difference and the amount of horses they get around Sydney every morning."
Niccirose won comfortably by six lengths but Sinclair was still thrilled with the results on the day.
"The prize money is great. We get more for running second than he would winning a race at Moree," he said.

Tamworth jockey Brooke Stower made the trip down to ride Liberty Head, with the pair already finding a lot of success this season.
"That was a great result because that was her fourth ride in Sydney and the first time she's ever had a place in Sydney," Sinclair said.
"I'm just really happy with the way he (Liberty Head) performed.
They both ran up to their ability and you can't ask for much more.

Despite drawing a bad barrier, Beacon, ridden by Chris Williams, fought hard after a rough start.
"They both drew bad barriers - they got 10 and 12 - he (Beacon) got caught wide and he ran a really honest race, tried his hardest and ran fourth," Sinclair said.
"I was pretty keen that they'd run a good race. I obviously like winning but if I go to the races and my horses run the best race they can, I'm happy, and that's what they did.
"They both ran up to their ability and you can't ask for much more."
Sinclair is hoping to race both Liberty Head and Beacon again in Randwick in two weeks, but he will continue to monitor how they recover from the long trip down south.
"I can't be any more happy than what the team I've got behind me that support us. I'm just so lucky to have them, without them we'd have no success."
