The club held its AGM on June 29, and the shortened season will run for nine weeks, beginning on July 25 and finishing up on September 26.
Registrations are open until midnight on July 19, and Moree Junior Soccer Club president Alex Donaldson is hoping to see a similar number of players compared to previous years.
"Last year there was over 300 kids registered, it'd be nice to get those sorts of numbers again," Donaldson said.
"We certainly envisage we'd be in excess of 200."

There were concerns there might not be a season at all due to COVID-19 but Donaldson is excited to give the players an opportunity to hit the field, albeit in a shorter season than usual.
"From the situation we were in three months ago, we sort of thought we might not have a season at all," he said.
"There's plenty of kids at home ready to run around there...there'll be a lot of excited kids to play a bit of sport on Saturdays."
There will be some limitations in place to ensure everything runs smoothly, and the canteen will also be closed on game days.
"We can only have 500 people at once...We probably will have staggered start times with different age groups just to minimise numbers," Donaldson said.
"That will depend on final numbers once we've got that sorted, when all registrations are in on the 19th.
"We're always looking for volunteers and committee people. I've only just taken the role on in the last two weeks, Virgil Smith is vice president....we're a fairly newer commitee."
