A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured in a motorbike accident on a Moree property on Saturday.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was on its way to Moree for an urgent medical transfer from Moree Hospital just after midday on Saturday after a male had suffered injuries from a fall from a roof.
However, on arrival, the chopper was diverted to a property in the Moree area where it was reported that a 10-year-old boy had suffered serious injuries in a motorbike accident.
Paramedics and the helicopter critical care medical team stabilised the boy at the scene before he was airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital in a serious condition.
He required further specialist treatment at Tamworth for serious multiple injuries.
No further information has been provided on the boy's condition.
