The Weemelah Branch of the Country Women's Association of NSW warmly welcomed the state CWA president last week.
Stephanie Stanhope travelled through the district, meeting with members and visiting CWA rest rooms.
This is the first time a state president has visited the Weemelah CWA branch, so members were highly excited.
The Weemelah branch were heartbroken to hear that Mrs Stanhope had lost her family home earlier in the year to a bushfire, so they presented her with a lovely patchwork quilt which had been donated to them by the Cornerstone Quilters Group at Bulli.
The Weemelah CWA branch members had a lovely day meeting the state president.
