Ella Lavery, Emily and Alice Maher, Max Hattan, Jeremy Blatchford and Jack Rogers did well enough to progress through, but unfortunately Ella and Jeremy won't be able to make the trip to Tamworth due to prior school commitments.
The zone trials brought together a total of 11 students from Moree and Gravesend at Moree Tennis Club, while Garah and Boomi weren't able to take part.

Moree Tennis Club president Margie Buckley said it was great to see the Moree players advancing to the regional trials.
"That should be a big turnout," she said.
"They take the top eight girls and eight boys on Monday and they will move on to the state finals.
"These Moree kids are stepping up....they've worked hard to get where they are."
Buckley said the players have been training hard over the last three weeks, with Moree Public School holding try outs to put the team together.
"We've had round robins for the last two weeks. It was so close, we had 15 boys competing for three spots," she said.
While the zone trials was an individual competition, the team of six will play against other schools in the near future.
Buckley was very proud of the efforts the players have put in to get to this position.
"They've all stepped it up. We're just so proud of them that they can get to the next level," she said.
"Once you get to Tamworth, you get the kids from the north west.
"The juniors are playing really well at the moment and they're trying hard and that's all we expect, is them to try their hardest.
"We're just trying to put Moree on the map again with tennis."
Moree Tennis Club's junior competition will start again in two weeks, and some of the older juniors are moving up into the B grade competition which is played on Wednesday nights.
"They're going on and playing the night comp with their parents, and that's how they improve," Buckley said.
The regional trials will be held in Tamworth next Monday, February 24.
"We just wish them all the best. We're proud of them for making it to the next step," Buckley said.
