The Miyay Birray Youth Service school holiday program is almost at the end of its first week, with around 20 children enjoying a cultural day at the Moree SHAE Academy.

There were plenty of activities on offer including some art, where everyone could paint their hands or feet and stick them on a banner.
There was also spear throwing, where they could show off their skills as they tried to hit a target, as well as music sticks that were available to use.
Earlier in the week, the PCYC hosted a sports day to kick off the program, while the Mobile Youth Van also visited the SHAE Academy on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday evening, the SHAE Academy was again the place to be, as around 70 children hit the dance floor for a disco.
The program continues tomorrow with a movie day at the SHAE Academy, with plenty more activities to come until the end of next week.
