The nursing staff were recently announced as the winners of the December 2019 award, with a total of 213 votes.
While various hospital departments and individuals have been recognised in the monthly awards over the years, it's the first time the whole of the nursing staff has won. Moree Hospital has about 50 nurses all up.

Moree Hospital's acute health service manager Bronwyn Cosh said it's great to see the whole nursing staff receive recognition, particularly those who are often behind the scenes.
"Some areas get recognised often, but the background staff don't so much," she said.
"Positive feedback to the hospital is really important.
"Everyone does their job every day but to get this sort of feedback is uplifting.
"Thank you so much to everyone for recognising all the nurses."
The nursing staff were presented their certificates by Moree Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook page administrator Tanya Fitch on Friday.
Ms Fitch said the December award received the highest overall votes ever, with Andrew Nash from Assef's receiving 100 votes and Moree Hospital's Debbie Swan receiving 64 votes.
She said she has noticed that every month either an individual or department from Moree Hospital receives a thumbs up in the Facebook group, which attests to the commitment and dedication of the hospital staff.
"When someone has taken the effort to [post a thumbs up], that person must have had a big impact," she said.
Mrs Cosh thanked Ms Fitch for all she does in recognising upstanding members of the community.
"I think it's really nice that you recognise people in Moree," she said to Ms Fitch.
Voting for the January 2020 Customer Service Appreciation Award is currently open on the Moree Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook page until the end of this month.
