A Rapid Relief Team (RRT) will embark on a journey through parts of drought-stricken New South Wales and Queensland to provide much-needed assistance.

Farmers Community Connect (FCC) is part of the team's Operation Drought Relief initiative, designed to support farming communities by hosting free barbecue events in each location they visit.
Stopping through Goondiwindi on February 13, Inverell on February 14 and Walgett on March 20, farmers in these locations can register to receive a free one-tonne bag of livestock pellets.
RRT Chairman Ron Arkcoll said values of care and compassion motivated the team to help farmers across drought-stricken NSW and QLD.
"We know how devastating the drought has been and continues to be for our regional communities- this is one way we can support them," Mr Arkcoll said.
Travelling with 1600 tonnes of fodder, the RRT hope to make a difference for farmers battling severe drought conditions.
In each location, the RRT will set up at the showground along side support services for a free barbecue lunch and chat with locals.
Free services such as veterinary support, rural financial counsellors, mental health and community health will be available for consultation at the showground.
"Long after the cameras have gone and the attention is elsewhere, our regional communities like Inverell and Goondiwindi still need support to get through this devastating drought.
"That's why we're heading on a road trip to hand out fodder; this is all part of the Rapid Relief Team's Farmers Community Connect initiative. It's also an opportunity to sit down for a coffee and a bite to eat with each other, and have a chat if people are in need of a listening ear."

Since 2018, RRT's Operation Drought Relief has donated over 12,156 bales of hay, and 600 tonnes of livestock pellets, delivered to 14 locations across NSW and QLD, helping over 1,500 farmers and their families in need.
The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church established the RRT in 2013 to express the Church's principles of care and compassion.
The RRT is staffed by Church volunteers who provide catering services at a range of charitable events and emergencies.
