After a successful first competition at the end of 2018, the Suns brought it back for another run, with this year's installment garnering some interest.
AFL9s is a modified, non-contact version of the sport that involves a smaller field with nine players on each team.
It's a mixed competition that is open to both males and females aged 14 and up, with no knowledge of the game required to play.
The competition is set to begin in two weeks on Friday, January 31 at the Moree Services Club, who have signed on as the Suns' major sponsors for the 2020 season.
Registering a team for the AFL9s competition can be done online. Payments have to be made by week three of the competition and can be done via the portal in the confirmation link.
The Suns are hoping the competition will draw new players to the club as they begin their preparation for the AFL North West season. Preseason training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6pm at Boughton Oval.
