Armstrong has had a busy couple of months, which began in October when she represented Central North at the under-15 women's country championships, where she took one wicket in her side's lone win at the tournament.
She was then selected for North West to compete at the NSW PSSA Girls Cricket Championships in November. The team finished fourth with five wins and two losses, with Armstrong's amassed a top score of 27 in a win against South Coast.
Armstrong's form only got better when she again represented Central North in December, this time at the inaugural under-13 Country Championships.
She won Central North co-best and fairest for the tournament, top scoring in two games with 21 against Illawarra and then 30 against North Coast.
The Country Sixers will go up against the Metro Sixers, Country Thunder and Metro Thunder in three twenty20 matches that will be held in Wellington from January 20 to 21.
