Moree Community Library is the place to be these school holidays. Not only does it provide a cool, air-conditioned place to escape the heat, but there's plenty of free activities on offer to keep the boredom at bay.

In addition to the Summer Reading Club there will be free activities on every weekday except Wednesdays throughout January.
The fun-fest all kicked off with a screening of the ever-popular The Lion King on Friday, January 3 and a Lego free play on Monday, January 6. The Lego free play will continue all day for the next two Mondays (January 13 and 20), with all ages welcome and no bookings required.
The Tinker Table will come out at 10.30am on Tuesdays (January 7, 14, 21 and 28), providing children aged four and older with the chance to participate in fun art, craft and science activities. Bookings are not required for the Tinker Table.

Children will be able to test their problem solving and sleuthing skills to find the treasure in the Librarian's office every Thursday (January 9, 16, 23 and 30), with the popular Escape Room Challenge at 10am and 3pm.
The Escape Room is suitable for children aged 10 and over, with a maximum of six participants per group. Participants are encouraged to get in quick to book a session, with only eight sessions available. The Escape Room Challenge is expected to take between 30 and 60 minutes.
Every Friday (January 10, 17, 24 and 31) will feature Summer Flicks, with a different new-release children's movie screened from 10am each week. All ages are welcome, and are invited to bring their own cushions and snacks. This Friday's Summer Flick will be Mary Poppins Returns.
Finally, the fun will wrap-up with the Summer Reading Club Party on Friday, January 31, celebrating the end of the school holidays and summer reading achievements. The party will be held from 3pm, with the winners of the Summer Reading Challenge and Escape Room Challenge to be announced. RSVP by January 24.
Parental/guardian supervision is required for all activities.
