Children were kept entertained with jumping castles, rides and games, while families enjoyed a picnic dinner from one of the food stalls.

A highlight was the arrival of Santa Claus, who gave his reindeers a rest ahead of their big night in a few weeks and instead flew in on a helicopter. Santa handed out presents to all the good boys and girls before flying back to the North Pole.
As the sun went down, families rolled out their picnic blankets and found a good spot to sing-along to all their favourite Christmas carols.
Moree Community Choir, Serendipity and Moree and District Band led the carols, with special performances by children from the local schools.
The event finished with a bang, as the crowd stayed on to watch the impressive fireworks display.
