The students started work on Monday, December 2 and will complete their busy week on Friday, December 6.
The aim of the work experience program is to open the students' eyes in a way to show them a life outside of school, where hours are longer and work loads can be much higher and more stressful.
But the week also helps students gain experience for different skills they can use in their everyday lives whatever job they take, like social, analytical and team-building skills, as well as finding and eliminating future career paths they make want to take.

The students were introduced to many different occupations, such as pharmacists, bakers, journalists, teachers, lawyers and beauty therapists.
One student in particular who is taking very well to his week of experience, learning the tricks of a trade of a baker at Moree Bakehouse is year 10 student Drew Mclane.
"I was drawn to the bakery as I enjoy cooking and baking all kinds of foods, so going to the bakery I knew I could get a great hands-on experience and find out what happens behind the scenes," Drew said.
"It's a great atmosphere, everyone is great to work with and they show you the logistics of it all in the best way possible.
"It's also amazing to be a part of the cooking aspect and getting to use the large machinery involved with it all."
Jordan Briggs is currently undertaking work experience at the Moree Champion.
