To make life a littler easier for Christmas shoppers during this busy time, Moree Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Moree Plains Shire Council, has once again organised a number of late night shopping events, giving residents plenty of opportunities to tick off their lists, all while supporting local businesses.
This year, instead of just one late night shopping evening, there will be four.
Moree retailers will be keeping their doors open late for the next four Thursdays in the lead-up to Christmas, starting tonight.
The CBD will come alive from 5pm to 8pm with live entertainment to fill the streets while shoppers find that perfect gift at some of Moree's unique retailers.
Entertainment will be by local musicians including Moree Ukulele Group, Moree Caledonian Society Pipes and Drums, Serendipity singers, a flute group, Jacqualyn Drenkhahn and Nicola Long.
Stores will have weekly specials, drinks and nibbles, while one-off menus will be available at local cafes and restaurants.
Moree Chamber of Commerce has also launched a new Shop #mymoree guide to promote Moree's unique and boutique retailers ahead of Christmas this year.
