There will be traditional German beer, food and music as well as market stalls, activities for kids, a jumping castle and much more.
North Star's Jeff Nixon said the village welcomed two German ladies who married local boys and Oktoberfest was an opportunity to remind them of home.
"Except the weather won't be as cool as Germany. We'll have a range of traditional German beer and music. For early birds who've booked online they'll get beer steins with their tickets as well," he said.
The family friendly event will start at around 11am at North Star Sport Club this Saturday and is expected to go well into the night.
Although Australia won't be playing, a big screen will be set up for Oktoberfest-goers to watch the Rugby World Cup Final.
"We've got a large screen and projector we can set up outside on the lawn. The plan originally was to watch Australia win but that went out the window."
Tickets are $15 each for adults, including a freshly-baked soft pretzel, and free for kids. With harvest wrapping up around the North Star area, Saturday will be a perfect opportunity to unwind, mingle and support the village.
Organisers have encouraged those interested to dress up in Lederhosen and dirndls with the first drink on the house!
