Around 400 attended the event, all to raise money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS).
"We did well to get that many," WHRS Support Group president Jane Rohde said.
"It was fabulous, during a drought, everybody was very generous. We made quite a good lot of money for the Westpace Rescue Helicopter Service."
While the final figure of funds raised has not been finalised, Mrs Rohde she was thrilled with how the event went.
Jeff Galbraith was MC for the day and the Moree Ukulele Group provided some great entertainment.
"We used Noah's Farm thoroughbred pigs who were very well cared for during the day and ran their races as they should have," Mrs Rohde laughed.
Chris Randall donated 20 bales of hay for the event while Paul Kelly was involved as the auctioneer.
"We auctioned a Balmain Tigers jersey, women's sevens jersey and a Wallabies jersey, all donated which was amazing," Mrs Rohde said.
"We just appreciated the Pally Hotel being generous in the use of their venue.
"Of course our local volunteers were amazing and the WRHS volunteers were amazing."
Mrs Rohde wanted to thank all the sponsors including N.W Ginning, Louis Dreyfus, Brighan Ginning, J.L.C Electrical, B&S Hydraulics, C.T. Oceania, Stahmann Farms, Applicance Rental, Melmac Motors, Johnson Concrete, Pally Hotel and Mick Hazel and Reados Butchery.
"Thank you to the Pallamallawa-Moree region for their ongoing support of a worthwhile charity, the charity that provides free of charge service to anybody involved with medical issues or that needs rescue during an accident," she said.
