Moree Plains Shire Council encouraging residents to register for Moree's biggest garage sale

There is less than two weeks to go until Moree's biggest garage sale and Moree Plains Shire Council is encouraging everyone to declutter their homes to be able to offload pre-loved iteams at Moree's Second-Hand Market and Car-Boot Sale which will be held at Jellicoe Park on Sunday, October 20 from 9am to 3pm.

Council will be hosting the event to encourage community members to reduce the amount of usable items and equipment being sent to landfill by providing an opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet.

To book a free space at the Second-Hand Market and Car-Boot Sale, register now by visiting https://www.garagesaletrail.com.au/sale/moree-plains-shire-council-second-hand-market and clicking on the "join this sale" button and filling out the online registration form.

Council is inviting all community members to head down to Jellicoe Park and find a bargain.

Additionally, the Department of Primary Industries will be hosting a free Gone Fishing Day for children at the same time and place, with workshops on how to fish, casting competitions and plenty of other activities.

Both the garage sale and the Gone Fishing Day will be held at Jellicoe Park on October 20 from 9am to 3pm.
