Moree Junior Rugby League held its presentation evening on Saturday, September 14, with all teams and players being recognised for their achievements throughout the 2019 season.

While Moree didn't achieve its desired results on the field, with the under-16s the only side to qualify for finals, there was still plenty to celebrate for players, coaches and family.
In the under-10s, Most Improved was awarded to Justin Norrie, Rhylan Madden took home Most Dedicated, Coaches Choice went to Jasper Taunton, Best Back was Travis Munro while Marley Spearim was named Best Forward. Layne Trotter won Best and Fairest on the day.
For under-12s, Ty Brown was named Most Improved, Most Dedicated went to Tristan Carter while Luke Annis-Brown was awarded with the Coaches Choice award. Tayte Duncan-Tighe took home Best Back with Liam Marshall awarded Best Forward and Jace Swan won Best and Fairest.
In the under-14s, Most Improved was awarded to Jamie Know-Greenaway, Leith Bearman took home Most Dedicated, Coaches Choice went to Corey Hourigan, Best Back was Dereik Newman while Thomas Carter was named Best Forward. Dereik Newman took home his second award after winning Best and Fairest.
Most Improved in the under-16s went to Ty Moore with Jeff Annis-Brown being awarded Most Dedicated, Coaches Choice went to Jade Girard, Best Back was Luke Hamiliton-Forbes with Alex Lawrence being named Best Forward. Jock Brazel took home Best and Fairest.
In the junior league tag, Most Improved was Lexi McGrady, Savannah French was named Most Dedicated, Coaches Choice went to Kaytlyn O'Hara, Naylarnii Munro won Best Back while Lorraine Townsend took home Best and Fairest.
For the intermediate league tag side, Indy Craigie won Most Improved, Most Dedicated was won by Mayesha Brown, Coaches Choice went to Cluadia Newman, Best Back was Kyleika Haines while Elsie Politis was named Best Forward and Kelinyaar Munro took home Best and Fairest.
In senior league tag, Most Improved was awarded to Michaela Copeland, Ashlyn Tape took home Most Dedicated, Coaches Choice went to Kasinda Porter, Jalika Leslie won Best Bank, Kianah Randall was named Best Link. Best and Fairest was won by Mikala Bearman.
The final two awards were the Paul Philp Trophy Best Under-14s Team Man which went to Leith Bearman while Jock Brazel took home the Chris McIntosh Memorial Trophy Best Team Player award.
