Preparations are well underway for the Weemelah CWA annual Spring lunch to be held on Sunday, September 8, commencing at 12 noon.

Once again, a delicious lunch is planned, while there will be some outstanding displays of craft items.
Patchwork quilts have been donated to raise money for the district that is enduring the worst drought on record. These quilts will be available for sale and one will be raffled.

This year's entertainment will be provided by the Moree Physie Group, who will dance for the crowd.
"We are looking forward to watching these children who are well-known for a great performance," Weemelah CWA secretary Libby McPhee said.
"This performance is not to be missed."
Attendees are encouraged to wear their most outstanding spring outfit and hat to compete for the best dressed male and female and hat of the day.
It promises to be a great day out for women and men. Cost is $15 per person. RSVP to libbymcphee@bigpond.com by September 1.
