Students and teachers alike showed off their creativity and dressed up in their best costumes involving some of their favourite book characters.
Book Week brings children and books together, with this year's theme being "Reading is My Secret Power'.
Everyone got a chance to parade their fantastic costumes in front of the rest of the school as well as family and friends that had come along to watch,
From Harry Potter to the Cat in the Hat to Darth Vader, the students produced some stellar costumes, with the best in each year group being recognised.
Following the parade, students split up into groups and got to experience lots of different books being read to them by teachers as well as some high school student volunteers.
St Philomena's School will now wait eagerly to see what the students can come up with for Book Week next year.
