After losing to the Saints in the major semi final, the Suns had their second chance against the Tamworth Roosters in the preliminary final and they didn't waste it.
The result never looked in doubt as the Suns walked away with a big 26-24-180 to 6-9-45 win at Varley Oval in Inverell.
Danny Brown and Nicholas Fisher were two clear standouts for the Suns in the win, each scoring eight goals.
Moree got off to a hot start, racing out to a 6-10-46 to 1-2-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, before really finding their feet and accuracy in front of goal in the second.
They added five more goals while restricting the Roosters to three to go into the main break with a 11-13-79 to 4-5-29 lead.
The Suns didn't let up in the second half, adding another 15 goals, including nine alone in the third quarter, while holding the Roosters to just two as they secured the big 135-point win and a spot in the grand final.
On top of Brown and Fisher's haul, Corey Baker and Jack Montgomery each added two goals while Branden Barker, Brody Read, Heath Caccianiga, Steven Le Milliere, Ed Montgomery and Spike Clements all scored one.
The Suns and Saints will meet each other in the grand final for the fourth year in a row, with the Saints winning last year's decider.
All of their meetings this season have been tight affairs and Saturday's match should be no different.
Opening bounce is at 10.45am at Wolsely Oval in Gunnedah.
