The 'Check, Ready, Grow' program provides landholders with the opportunity to check the direction of their farm business, encouraging them to look for opportunities to improve the financial management and natural assets.
"These sessions provide time for consideration of opportunities to manage the climate going forward and to look for new opportunities to connect with consumers and markets," senior land services officer George Truman said.
The farm check-in sessions are being facilitated by House Paddock Training and Consulting, in conjunction with North West LLS.

Landholders who participate in the farm check-in events, will be eligible for state and federal funding, to support capacity building, mentoring and on ground works to adopt best management practices within land capability, aligned to goals set during the farm check-in sessions.
Keith Walker from North West LLS said the events will also provide a chance to catch up with North West LLS staff and the Regional Agricultural Landcare Facilitators to link in with other projects and opportunities across the region.
"This opportunity is perhaps one of our best yet, and timely to get landholders to take the opportunity to check-in on current challenges to the state of their natural assets and farm businesses, and identify goals to improve capacity and their natural asset base, particularly soils going forward," he said.
Three farm check-in sessions will be running in the North West during August starting with Somerton on Wednesday, August, 14, Warialda on Friday, August 16 and Garah on Wednesday, August 21. These events are supported through funding from Catchment Action NSW.
