Members of the Newcastle-based not-for-profit charity, which is run by former Moree woman Maria Martin and helps victims of domestic violence and homeless people, were in Bellata to provide drought relief to the community.
As part of their visit, they attended Bellata Public School's weekly assembly on Friday, July 26, where they handed out backpacks full of supplies to all students.
They also held a drought relief function at the Bellata Golf Club to help the rural community struggling with drought.
It was a fantastic event and the Bellata community are extremely grateful to Survivors R Us for all their hard work.
