They have won nine straight games, their latest a 30-0 thrashing of the Glen Innes Magpies on Sunday, and have all but got their hands on the minor premiership this year.
The Boars currently sit two points clear on top of the ladder, and with a far superior points difference to the second placed Rams, it's highly unlikely they'll lost that spot.
In the win over the Glen Innes, the Boars were in control from beginning to end, and captain-coach Lena Smith was very pleased with the team's efforts.
"The girls defence I was very impressed with and happy with," Smith said.
"It was our best defensive game of the year I think."

Smith said Aleah Peckham and Shai-Lee Smith were two of her side's best in the big win, but was more pleased with the overall team effort.
Smith knows there's still room for improvement but is really happy with how the team is currently travelling.
"If we keep doing what we're doing we'll make it all the way," she said.
"Just playing as a team, that's going to get us up there if we keep playing as we are."
After a slow start to the season, the Boars have been nearly unstoppable and in a scary prospect for the rest of the competition, are only getting better.
Their last four wins have come by a combined margin of 144 points to 10.
"We've finally come together and we're all gelling there," Smith said.
"I think the first couple of losses were just because it was a new team, new players. We didn't know how each other played.
"Once we figured that out, we kind of got on a roll."
The Boars will play their final regular season game this weekend against the winless Narwan Eels, whom the Boars thrashed 60-0 the last time they faced.
A win would guarantee the Boars the minor premiership, but Smith knows they can't go into this game with a poor attitude.
"We're not going to go over there and think we're going to win....I don't want the girls thinking like that," Smith said.
"They've got a few good players on their team, so you never know what they could do on the day.
"We'll just play how we normally play and hopefully we'll get the win."
