While NAIDOC Week might be officially over for 2019, the celebrations are continuing in Moree, with Moree SHAE Academy hosting a Sports Day.

The children enjoyed a day of fun activities and games, including touch football, soccer and much more.
There were also novelty races as well as a barbecue lunch provided.
There has been plenty of NAIDOC Week action throughout the school holidays, including SHAE Academy's Cultural Family Fun Day, as well as a flag raising at Moree Police Station and the Moree Hospital.
There was also plenty of sporting action as the Boomerangs beat the Narwan Eels for the NAIDOC Week Shield and Moree Services Club played for the Inaugural NAIDOC Soccer Shield.
NAIDOC Week ends with a pool competition on Saturday, playing off for the Tough Guy Newman and Kenny Bri Johnson Memorial Shield before a NAIDOC Disco with DJ Baker Boy at the Victoria Hotel on Saturday night.
