About 40 people attended BAMM's Art After Dark session on Thursday, July 4, during which they got to explore the exhibitions currently on show as part of the BAMM Art Fair - the group Visions of Colour exhibition and seven micro exhibitions, featuring local and regional artists.
A handful of the Moree micro exhibition artists - Tim Barklay, Josie Birchall, Greg Fisher, and Maisie Johnson - gave artists talks on the night, explaining the ideas and creative processes behind their creations.
Attendees then had the opportunity to try their hand at creating a masterpiece, with a watercolour art activity exploring 'visions of colour' in nature.
This month's Art After Dark event is part of a month-long celebration of local and regional artists during the inaugural BAMM Art Fair, which kicked off last weekend with a cocktail party opening on Friday and arts and craft garden market on Saturday.
There will also be workshops running throughout the month, including a sold-out weaving workshop with Maisie Johnson on Saturday, July 6, paper making with Yvonne Ledingham on Saturday, July 13, and painting with Dani Buchanan on Sunday, July 21. BAMM's school holiday art classes will also be running on Monday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 10, while a studio open day will be held on Saturday, July 20.
All artworks in the group and micro exhibitions will remain on display and available for purchase until Saturday, July 27.
