On Saturday, the Boomerangs will clash with the Eels in A-grade, reserve grade and ladies league tag while Tingha Tigers will make the trip to Moree for the under-18s match.
In A-grade, not only is the Shield on the line but the game is perhaps the most important for both the Boomerangs and Eels this season.

With both teams sitting tied on 16 points and Glen Innes sitting just one win above, this match could play a massive role in determining who finishes in the top two at the end of the season and have an opportunity to host a grand final.
"It's probably our most important game of the season," Boomerangs coach Chris Binge said.
The last time the two sides faced the Eels got the better of the Boomerangs in a tight 34-26 win.
The Boomerangs went in a little under strength for that game but Binge is confident that when they have their best team on the park they can beat anyone in the competition.
While Glen Innes hold a handy lead at the top of the ladder, Binge isn't giving up on finishing in top spot.
"We're still giving ourselves every chance to finish top of the comp," Binge said.
"That starts with ourselves. A win this week gives us second spot which is great. A couple of results go our way we could still end up in first.
"We've just got to concentrate on this weekend and that's what we're going to do."
There will also be plenty of other entertainment on the day including an arts corner and novelty races.
The action on the field kicks off at 11am with the ladies league tag who will be hoping to bounce back from a big loss to the Boars last weekend.
That game will be followed by the under-18s, then reserve grade and finished off with the all-important A-grade clash.
