The State of Mind program, which is sponsored by the Australian Government Department of Health, was developed in partnership with Lifeline, Kids Helpline, Headspace and the Black Dog Institute and aims to reduce the stigma around mental illness.
The workshop will increase participants' understanding of mental health, educate and inform the community with appropriate resources and help build connections to important support services.
Former NRL player and current community development deliverer Preston Campbell will run the session and help build resilient clubs in Moree.
The workshop is for club committee members, coaches and players and will be held at Moree Services Club this Friday, July 5 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
