If you haven't been able to cross skydiving off your bucket list then the perfect opportunity to do so is approaching with the Skydive Oz Outback Tour.
People in Moree will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of skydiving with a tandem jump with an experienced instructor, free-falling at 200 kilometres per hour before soaking in the sights while parachuting back down to land.
The outback tours have been running for 12 years, travelling to regional areas to bring skydiving to them when normally they would have to travel hours to experience it.
"We just sort of travel around to all the country towns, more the country towns that aren't close to the coast," Skydive Oz owner Paul Smith said.
"We've done everything from Moree, Narrabri, out to Bourke, Broken Hill, Walgett and everything else in between."
Mr Smith said that Skydive Oz has been the only company to provide this exciting opportunity to regional towns.
"It's an opportunity for people to do a tandem jump without training, an opportunity to jump over their home town which is very rare," he said.
The Outback Tour will visit Lightning Ridge on July 11 and 12, Moree on July 13 and will also stop in Narrabri and Gunnedah on July 14.
Moree's Marley Nolan-Duncan, who was recently selected in the Australian skydiving team, will be part of the tour as an instructor.
The tandem jump costs $388, with $5 per tandem going towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
There is also an opportunity to purchase photos and video footage for an extra charge. You can book online at https://www.skydiveoz.com.au/outback-tour/ or by calling 1300 185 180.
All those interested are encouraged to book quickly as there are limited spots available.
"It's just an opportunity for people to come and have a jump," Mr Smith said.
"It happens once a year. Even come and have a watch. It's always good to come along to."
