The Our Children, Our Choice Family Event will be held at Jellicoe Park from 10am to 3.30pm on Saturday, June 15.
It aims to promote Centacare's Our Children, Our Choice program which involves legally-assisted, culturally-appropriate mediation for Indigenous or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families.
"It's awareness around Centacare and what we have available to the community," Centacare's community development worker legally-assisted cultural mediation Meagan Price said.
"We want the kids to come along and enjoy being a kid, while we have packages to give adults with information about what we do."
The popular petting zoo will return to this year's event, along with a jumping castle and face painting. This year there will also be a mobile rock climbing wall and Aboriginal beading, as well as pizza, slushies, popcorn and fairy floss food stalls, and bottled water available. Everything is free.
While the event is targeted at Aboriginal or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families, Ms Price said all families are welcome.
"We hope to get as many people there as possible," she said.
