Moree Plains Shire Council will be erecting a number of guardrails and barriers to improve safety.

Guardrails and barriers will be erected along Gosport Street, Frome Street, Bulluss Drive and Oak Street to prevent the dangerous use of motorbikes, cars and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

Council was successful in receiving funding through round two of the federal government's Safer Communities Fund to undertake the work.
