Thiyama-Li holding Ochre Ribbon Day to help prevent domestic violence

Thiyama-Li Family Violence Service will be hosting the Ochre Ribbon Day on April 16, as part of the Ochre Ribbon Campaign which raises awareness about family and domestic violence in Aboriginal communities and the devastating impact it can have.

There will be plenty of entertainment on hand for all ages with a kids corner filled with a jumping castle, popcorn and fairy floss.

There will also be free family portrait pictures being taken as well as a sausage sizzle, cultural games and activities and dance performances.

The activities will be held at the Moree SHAE Academy next Tuesday, April 16 from 11am to 2pm.
