Water users who wish to make an important contribution to WaterNSW's area-based Customer Advisory Groups only have a short time left to nominate.
Nominations are currently open for the second term of office for WaterNSW's Customer Advisory Groups and will close on Friday, March 29.
WaterNSW executive manager customer and community David Stockler said there has been some good interest from water users wanting to be involved.
"I am looking forward to reviewing the nominations from recognised water user organisations and water industry groups," he said.
"As the Customer Advisory Groups are an important forum that WaterNSW relies on for communication and consultation with customers, it is important that we get good representation from a range of customers in each area.
"Membership on the Customer Advisory Groups includes representation from WaterNSW customers who are: regulated river water users, unregulated river water users, groundwater users, stock and domestic users, environmental water users, industrial and commercial water users, Local Water Utilities, major utilities, volumetric categories of users and Aboriginal cultural heritage water users."
The new Customer Advisory Group term starts on July 1, 2019. For more information about the nomination process please contact WaterNSW on email firstname.lastname@example.org
