25 teams of three participated in a round of golf, all dressed in pink and braving a scorching 41 degrees.
Around 140 people joined together at the golf club for a family fun afternoon following the golf, where children could enjoy a jumping castle, face painting and a slip and slide.
Through the bake sales, raffles, golf nominations and sponsors, $4700 was raised for the McGrath Foundation.
"That has blown us away we never thought we would raise that in the middle of this terrible drought," organiser Kelly Chapman said.
"We have had quite a few people thank us for having such a fun filled day in these hard times to lift everyone's spirits and that is heartwarming that we can also help our own community morale as well."

Ms Chapman wanted to thank their sponsors, Mungindi Golf Club committee, Namoi Cotton, Mungindi Ginning, Mungindi Caltex service station, Lowes, Red's Quality Meats and all the local families who donated prizes and money.
"It is not possible to host a day like this without the help of wonderful family and friends," Ms Chapman said.
"Big massive thanks to them all as without this volunteer help these days don't happen.
"With such a fantastic, successful day we will be back next year to do it all again so put it on the calendar!"
