Students, family and staff all had a wonderful day at the swimming carnival, held at Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre on Wednesday, February 13.
The students once again failed to defeat the teachers in relays, so they will have to regroup and come back stronger next year.
The Gwydir Gift got the crowd buzzing and cheering. Ying Zou of Mehi took out the female event while Kaylib Taunton, also of Mehi, held his lead to win the male race in a close finish.
House Gwydir and House Mehi rallied hard all day in their colours and in full voice lead by their captains and patrons.
However, there could only be one winner and after the points were tallied it was Mehi proving too strong in the pool to take out the title for 2019.
