The Big Community Muster provides an opportunity for rural communities to come together and share experiences and discuss ways to build resilience and work together through a tough drought.
"We thought we've got an opportunity to do a series of seminars and hopefully change the language and at the same time give a bit of support to some of the rural communities," organiser Barry Membrey said.
"Generic uplifting ways to look after yourself, your family, community, prevent a bit of mental health issues, say here's a bit of plan on how to get through the tough times."
There will be three speakers on the night, headlined by Learnt Lessons Consulting Dennis Hoiberg, who is a very popular public speaker on emotional wellbeing and resilience.
"I think the message he's presenting is first class," Mr Membrey said.
"Every time I listen to him I find something good in it that's beneficial to me."
RSM Director Gerard O'Brien will be speaking about government assistance packages that are available and ANZ NSW State Agribusiness Manager Alister Bennett will discuss ways to better plan your finances and provide strategies on dealing with banks.
Mr Membrey understands this is a time when a lot of seminars are being held but wants to encourage anyone to come, not just farmers.
"Some people are probably thinking they've been to enough but I think some people will find this one very beneficial," he said.
"It's not your normal speak fest, its a good message that anybody will have some take homes about it.
"It's a good message that you may know somebody who needs a good take home message and you can pass it on and we will ensure there is some follow up if people want it.
"We've got the expertise on the ground to pass on names or find assistance for people if they need it. Everybody will get something out of it."
The night will begin at 5pm on Wednesday, February 27 at the Moree Services Club.
