In the match between Colts and Balcony Boys, an impressive 80 from Aaron Dudgeon wasn’t enough for Balcony Boys with Colts winning by 34 runs.
Colts batted first and finished with 6/172, Grady Sinclair and Christopher Heterick top the pick of the batsmen with 51 and 44, respectively.
Balcony Boys could only muster 128 in response, despite Dudgeon’s innings of 80 off just 54 balls. Mick Davison was best with the ball with figures of 3/21.
Vic Vikings were too good for Rangs in a close eight-run win. Vikings reached 6/177, Josh Shone leading the way with 71 runs, supported by Wyatt Roberts with 38 not out at the tail end of the innings.
Rangs came close in reply, finishing on 8/169, Jason Poutawa once again top scoring with 68 runs. Roberts took three wickets for Vikings and Adam French took two.
Agri Storage remained undefeated, defending their total of just 120 against Camurra Crows with some strong bowling.
No Agri Storage batsman was able to score above 20, with Ben Day starring with the ball for Crows with 4/21.
Chasing a small total, Crows’ Toby Tapscott stood up with the bat, scoring 44 runs but Alfred Newman was too good with ball in hand on his way to impressive figures of 4/6 as Crows were bowled out for just 94.
Beau McMahon, Adam Bailey and Chris Holland all chipped in with two wickets apiece.
Adam Ha was just five runs short of a brilliant century in Golfies’ win over Pally Pub Bulls. Ha hit six sixes on his way to 95 not out off just 51 balls, as Golfies reached a season-high 3/187, Matt Lather supporting well with 56 of his own.
Sam Brown finished with solid figures of 2/20 for Bulls in a tough day for the bowlers.
