The club are coming off back-to-back premierships in the Namoi League and according to club president Alex Madden, the goal for 2019 is simple.
“Hopefully go three in a row,” he said.
“We won the premiership last year and the year before. The goal is pretty much to win the premiership again.”
As they have done over the last two seasons, Moree Services FC will once again enter two sides in the competition, divided as equally as possible.
Whilst coaches are yet to be confirmed, Madden says it’s likely that Darrel Smith and Matthew Urquhart will return to their roles and each lead a team.
Madden is confident the club will have the majority of its players returning for the 2019 season, and wants to encourage new recruits to join as well.
“Most of them are coming back, I’m hoping anyway,” he said.
“We normally lose a few from high school that go to uni and school teachers come and go.
“I’d say 90% of people are returning. A few blokes have said they’ve got mates who might be keen as well.
“We want to build the club up and get a bit more exposure, for people that are new to town to know we’ve actually got a team.”

Madden is hoping to get as much preparation as possible for the seasons, with plans to play a few preseason games.
“We’re looking at playing the Goondiwindi Roos in the next few weeks,” he said.
“We’ve also nominated for the FFA Cup which will be around March. Our season normally starts around Easter.”
Preseason training will run every Sunday from 6:00pm behind the Moree Services Club, with plans to add a second weekly session soon.
