Safer Internet Day is a worldwide event celebrated in over 130 countries, to encourage individuals to create a better internet and become positive social influencers.
This years theme 'Together for a better internet' focuses on the development of four critical skills: respect, responsibility, reasoning and resilience.
PCYC is dedicated to supporting Safer Internet Day by inviting everyone to a free internet safety information session.
The session is open for all parents and families and is suitable for children aged 8-18 years old.
PCYC have a strong partnership with the NSW Police Force and have secured some of the most experienced officers to deliver these sessions.
Its aim is to help Moree’s communities become positive social influencers and come Together for a better Internet .
The event will be held at PCYC Moree on Tuesday, February 5, beginning at 7:00pm.
