The residents of Fairview Retirement Village celebrated Christmas in traditional style with a delicious meal, good company, a visit from Santa and presents over the past few weeks.

Each of the three sections of the retirement village have now had their Christmas parties; Nan Crane Lodge’s was on December 6, Perry James Lodge had theirs on December 12 and Federation Lodge celebrated on December 16.
Residents and their families enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner of cold meats and salad, as well as yummy dessert.

Santa Claus also stopped by at each function to hand out presents to all residents.
“They all told Santa they were good this year,” Fairview activities officer June McKnight laughed.
All-female vocal group Serendipity Sings gave a special performance for the residents of Perry James Lodge during their Christmas party.
Ms McKnight said each dinner was once again a great success.
“Everyone had a great time, they all love parties,” she said.
