The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service has responded to a single vehicle high speed rollover on the Gwydir Highway 20km from Warialda.

The rollover took place at around 12pm on Wednesday. NSW paramedics attended the scene before contacting the helicopter service.
The paramedics and helicopter critical care medical team treated the driver, aged 56. The man suffered from multiple injuries to the face and finger, and was in a stable condition. There were no other passengers or cars involved in the accident.
The man was initially taken to Warialda Hospital before being flown to Tamworth Base Hospital for further treatment.
