The man was transported to Inverell District Hospital following the incident with minor injuries, including lacerations to the head. An Ambulance Media spokesperson confirmed that the man had been affected by a hypoglycemic episode, as earlier reports indicated.

Emergency services are on the scene of a car accident on Lawrence Street after a driver appeared to lose control of the vehicle at approximately 12.30pm. The car had collided into a parked vehicle.
Early reports indicate that the man, who appeared to be middle-aged, may have become unconscious due to hypoglycemia.
The man was conscious and responding to paramedics when they arrived at 12.35pm.
A local woman indicated that she was driving along Lawrence Street when the driver appeared to lose control of his vehicle. The woman said she narrowly avoided a head on crash with the car, which proceeded to collide with two parked cars.
Witnesses rushed to the man’s assistance as they waited for emergency services. Police were on the scene by 1pm.
The police alerted the fire brigade of the incident at 1.15pm and they arrived within 10 minutes to clean the oil spill and debris from the scene.
A towing service also arrived at that time.
