Seven students turned up ready to begin their primary school adventures. While it was a bit overwhelming for some, others took to it like ducks to water.
The older students were very eager to show their new friends around and made them all feel very welcome.
It’s lovely to welcome some new families to the Bellata Public School community.
The new mums shared a cuppa and a chat once class went in, while younger siblings enjoyed some time in the playground.
Big smiles greeted parents in the afternoon with reports of fun playing, lots of writing, sharing news (show and tell) and making new friends being mentioned at pick up time.
Transition will continue for another four weeks and there is no doubt these youngsters will be back for more fun and learning next week.
