Each group performed two pieces across a range of sections.
Our students performed exceptionally well with the Primary Choir being awarded a Highly Commended Award for the piece 'Gecko' by Sherelle Eyles and a third place for their rendition of the Eisteddfod set piece 'Starfish'.
Our secondary singing group placed first in both of their sections, performing the songs 'Ho Hey' by the Lumineers and 'Viva La Vida' by Coldplay.
As a result of their high-quality performances, the Secondary Singing Group attained the award for 'Overall Champion Secondary School Choir'.
Additional performances from both the Primary School Choir and Secondary Singing Group will be held at the upcoming St. Philomena’s School M.A.D (Music, Art, Dance) Night on September 19 for all parents and friends to enjoy.
