MOL will auction off 18 guernseys at the round 15 showdown at Boughton Oval. The design of the guernseys have been tailored to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Boars.
“Alf Scott has compiled a list of every person who played for the club since 1955. That list will be on the guernseys,” MOL secretary Tony Woodham said.

The Moree MOL has been helping people who have fallen on hard times since the inception of the organisation in 2012. Since that time, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and now seats 150 members.
The MOL hosts a fundraiser every year at the same time as a rugby league game day. Mr Woodham said sport was one of the town’s many treasures.
“While other towns shrink and less people sign up to play sport, Moree has been able to put together two teams, the Boomerangs and the Boars. League is one of the town’s strong assets on top of many others.”
According to Mr Woodham, the once-a-year fundraiser raises around $4,000.
“Moree has always been generous and supported our cause,” he said.
The money will assist both MOL and non-MOL members suffering from health and financial problems. Services include food, fuel and accommodation vouchers and general support.
“In one instance, we renovated an older ladies bathroom, her husband had been very sick, and she was needing upgrades to her bathroom to help care for him,” Mr Woodham said around the time of the 2016 fundraiser.
While Mr Woodham praises the support from the Moree community, he said the MOL is always on the lookout for more members.
“It’s only a small amount to join. You might fall on hard times and need something small like transportation to visit the hospital. We’ll be there for you.”
