Around 40 people turned up to the Moree Care facility for the worthy cause.
“It’s lovely seeing the elderly and people with disability mix together with the staff. Some of Moree Care’s staff aren’t even rostered to work today, but they decided to drop in,” Belinda said.
A $5 donation was accepted at the door, with all proceeds raised going to Cancer Council Australia.
“Last year we raised $600. This year, we managed to break that record and bring in $700. Every cent of that money will go to the charity,” Belinda said.
Belinda thanked Coles, Moree Tourism Centre and Mitre 10 for their constant support.
