Lost tools
Police are seeking the owner of a quantity of tools which were handed into the Inverell Police Station. The tools were seen falling off the rear of a white Nissan Navara ute on the Ring Street bridge at 2.30pm on Tuesday, April 24.

Drugs test
At 1.50am on Thursday, April 26, police stopped a motor vehicle on Swan Street, Inverell.
The driver, aged 40, from Moree tested positive for drugs. He was arrested and taken to Inverell police station where it is alleged that he tested positive to both amphetamine and cannabis in a secondary test. The male was issued a 24-hour notice from driving and he will face Inverell Local Court at a later date.
