Although the Suns men’s dominated their game against the New England Nomads, defeating the Armidale side 133-67, the local side were unable to come away with the win as the understrength visitors ultimately forfeited the game.
Best and fairest, sponsored by Assef’s went to Zach Collier, while Men’s players’s player was awarded to Ash Jones.
In the women’s game, the Nomads proved too good for the Suns, defeating the home side 58-20.
Women’s best and fairest, sponsored by Emma O’Hern, went to Amy Haley and players’ player was awarded to Codie Gainey.
Moree Golf Club hosted the presentation after the game.
This Saturday, the Suns will travel to Narrabri to take on the Narrabri Eagles.
The next home game will be round five on Saturday, May 5, when the Suns host Gunnedah Bulldogs.
